The training provides an opportunity to share one’s own experiences and learn how to utilize them. Participants receive information and tools during the training, enabling them to draw upon their life experiences when offering peer support.
Expert by experience and peer support training
Mielen Avoin Opisto
The basic training for experts by experience is approximately 100 hours in duration. The training is not aimed at obtaining a degree or completing a specific part of a degree. Participation is free of charge. The training is intended for residents of Pirkanmaa (a region in Finland), and the language of instruction is Finnish.
